Synovial sarcoma is a mesenchymal soft-tissue tumor rarely found in the head and neck region. These tumors occur most
commonly in young-adult male patients and generally localize in the parapharyngeal space. We report the case of a patient with
a high grade biphasic synovial sarcoma of the posterior wall of the pharynx, to whom a two-stages resection was effected,
following by post surgical radiotherapy sessions.
