Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present Derrida’s approach (developed at the end of
the 1980’s and in the early 1990’s) to certain concepts such as justice and responsibility.
Since these concepts could not be addressed in a direct manner, such
approach will be named oblique. Nevertheless, this indirect way of addressing
them would soon be considered insufficient and unsatisfactory and would eventually
be replaced by the experience of the aporia. In Derrida’s case, however, the
aporia far from representing a hindrance to thinking, will be an opportunity not
only for thought but for politics and moral as well.
